Privacy Policy

This policy applies to all Chrome browser extensions published by Ken Brill (wallencreeksoftware.com). Last updated: March 2026.

The Short Version

Your Data Stays on Your Device

My Chrome extensions are developer productivity tools. They do not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. Everything they do happens locally in your browser.

No data collection. No analytics. No tracking. No accounts required.

Data & Permissions

What the Extensions Access

Each extension requests only the permissions necessary to function. Below is a plain-language explanation of how those permissions are used:

    Active Tab / Page Content Read-only access to the current tab's URL and DOM, used solely to detect which Salesforce page you are on and render the extension's UI. This data is never sent anywhere.
  • 🔒
    Storage (chrome.storage.local / sync) Used to save your personal preferences and settings (such as color choices or toggle states) inside Chrome's own storage. Sync storage may be used to carry your preferences across your own devices via your Google account — no data passes through my servers.

    Scripting / Content Scripts Injected scripts run on the pages you have authorized to enhance the UI. They do not exfiltrate data or make network requests to third-party servers.

    No Network Requests to External Servers My extensions do not send any data to me, to analytics providers, or to any third party. There are no telemetry calls, crash reporters, or usage trackers.

Third Parties

No Third-Party Data Sharing

My extensions do not integrate with any third-party analytics, advertising, or data-collection services. No data about you or your usage is ever sold, licensed, or shared with any third party for any reason.

The only third-party involvement is the Chrome Web Store itself (Google), which handles distribution. Google's own privacy policies govern that relationship.

My extensions are developer tools intended for adults. They do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 13.

Changes

Policy Updates

If the privacy practices of any extension change materially — for example, if a future version adds cloud sync or optional account features — this page will be updated and the extension's Chrome Web Store listing will link to the updated policy. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
